Available for hire for recreation, social and fund raising events, craft fairs, local societies, wedding receptions and family gatherings, the Warkworth War Memorial Hall can accommodate groups from 5 to 140, 7 days a week.

It is managed as a charity for use by local inhabitants without distinction of political, religious or other opinions. The more formal document defining its purpose and ongoing management is described in the Scheme (pdf), overseen by the Charity Commisioners for England and Wales.

Memorial Hall 2024 Survey (running until the end of March)

The management committee invite you to have your say on the Hall’s future development. The 2024 survey is available as a word document or a pdf file. We would be grateful if you would download and complete either of these documents.

Changes since our last survey (2018) have included re-decoration and re-flooring the main hall, new hall lighting, upgrades to AV equipment (projector, screen and speakers), re-decoration of the British Legion Room which is now in general use, re-decoration of the Library and corridor areas, Internet provision and acquisition of IT training equipment, re-pointing various external walls, resolution of a basement damp problem and a major update to the Hall’s fire detection/alarm system. There have also been changes to the Hall Trustees and the active user groups.
